7th Grade Life Science / 10th Grade Biology

Mrs. Motycka is entering her eighth year of teaching, and her fifth at TTA. Mrs. Motycka teaches seventh grade life science and tenth grade biology, with an emphasis on inquiry and problem-based learning. Students in Mrs. Motycka's biology class have scored extremely well on the Biology AIR test, most recently scoring at 98% proficiency, the highest proficiency rate of any school in Northwest Ohio. Her favorite thing about teaching at Toledo Technology Academy is the inclusive nature of the school, and the willingness of students to take on a new challenge. ​
