Louise Lowenstein has lived a life of education, fully and passionately,
dedicated to English for 22 years, between two high schools, Jesup W.
Scott High School, where she taught for 13 years and Toledo Technology
Academy where she remains teaching to this day. To make her teaching
dream come true Mrs. Lowenstein, attended Wittenberg University, where
she obtained her Bachelors in English; then she later received her
Masters from the University of Toledo (UT) for teaching. Mrs. Lowenstein
leads the yearbook, plans for Stratford/Opera Field Trip and the
newspaper. Her hard work has shown through her dedicated teaching
styles here at TTA.
Mrs. Lowenstein was raised on a farm, so she knows how to work hard.
Her family is very close. She has 4 children, which gave her plenty of
mom experience, as well 5 grandchildren that she loves dearly. And she
has 2 big dogs she also loves. Mrs. Lowenstein worked in a junkyard
before attending college, and was brownie leader for 15 years.
During the summer when Mrs. Lowenstein is not teaching she goes up to
Canada to her cabin and enjoys a lax day of fishing. Other hobbies
include sewing, gardening, and reading.
